If all goes well this term, I will be in Japan next year. "All goes well" meaning I got two Ds and two Cs last term, with a few Bs and an Incomplete, and I need to prove to my parents (Dad) that I'm not wasting their money.
In other words, there are two possible outcomes from this Spring term '06:
1) I get good grades (As and Bs) and I get to go to Japan,
2) I get bad grades (Cs or worse) and get to pay for the rest of my college --> aka I sign with the Navy or other such institution, go to Japan for a year, and let them pay for the rest of college.
I'm pretty much leaning toward the first option more.
Pending all this plus a quite long plane ride, a slur of Japanese and English colloquial will possess the spaces herein.
Needless to say, I am very excited.
